Alma E. Lavertu

FRANKLIN — Mrs. Alma E. Lavertu, 92, of Franklin, died at Franklin
Regional Hospital on Feb. 8, 2001.

She was born in Laconia on Jan. 9, 1909, the daughter of Francois and
Roseanna (Bilodeau) Baron. She resided in Manchester for a time but
Franklin was her home most of her life.

Several years ago, Mrs. Lavertu worked at Sulloway Hosiery Co. She also
was housemother at Hampshire House in Manchester.

Mrs. Lavertu was a communicant of St. Paul Church.

She was the widow of John W. Lavertu, who died in 1947.

Family members include two sons, John Lavertu of Franklin and Joseph
Lavertu of Tilton; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, a
great-great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Thibault-Neun Funeral
Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross
Cemetery.
