Wonda J. Mitchell

BELMONT — Mrs. Wonda Jean (Shute) Mitchell, 46, of 29 High Crest, died
on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at the Concord Hospital.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Dec. 12, 1954 in Dover, the daughter of Eugene
and Anna (Kennedy) Shute. She was a long-time resident of the Lakes
Region. She was a Realtor at J.G. Realty for many years.

She was a member of the South Baptist Church in Laconia.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred E. Mitchell of Belmont; a son,
John E. Mitchell and his wife, Katy, of Gilford; two daughters, Tonyel
Mitchell and her husband, Scott Giguere of Belmont, and Elizabeth
McDonough and her husband, Christopher, of Belmont; four grandchildren;
her mother, Anna Parker of Manchester; two brothers, Anthony Fay of
Concord, and Frederick J. Shute of Belmont; and a sister, Kelly Shute of
Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her father, Eugene Shute.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the Carriage House
of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the South
Baptist Church, 85 Court St., Laconia. Pastor Barry Armitage of the
church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery,
Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord
Hospital’s Cancer Center, c/o the Concord Hospital Philanthropy Office,
250 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, is in charge of
the arrangements.
