Amelia M. Day, 81
Tuesday, March 26, 2002
WEST BOYLSTON- Amelia M. (McLeod) Day, 81, of 28 Keyes
St., a retired bookkeeper, died Sunday, March 24, in
UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus,
Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Harry C. Day;
a daughter, Barbara D. Lund of Boylston; a sister,
Elma Campbell of West Boylston; nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Merdic and
Alice (Lynch) McLeod. She graduated from North High
School and Becker Junior College.
Mrs. Day was a bookkeeper for Ericson Associates,
Worcester, before retiring. She was a member of Our
Lady of Good Counsel Church.
The private funeral will be held Wednesday, March
27, from Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston
St. (www.faybrothers.com), with a Mass at 10 a.m. in
Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St.
Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Calling hours
are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
may be made to American Diabetes Association,
Massachusetts Affiliate, 1 Bromfield St., Boston, MA
02108.
