Mrs. Mattie Davenport Moore, aged 79, widow of James B, Moore, who was for
many years a prominent merchant at Greenbrier and Conway and mother of W.E.
and J.O. Moore of Conway, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Lilla Raper of Coweta, OK...
Mrs. Moore was born in Alabama, October 24, 1849 and came with her parents
to this county at an early age. She lived at Greenbrier and at Conway for
more than 50 years, but for the past 10 years has made her home with her
daughter in Oklahoma. Besides the two sons here and Mrs. Raper, Mrs. Moore
is survived by one other daughter, Mrs Della Hines of Booneville.
