Most of my Urbans are from the NYC area. I do have one uncle that I can't
account for. His name is Henry Urban, born around 24 Nov 1891. He is a Jr.
His father is Henry Urban, born 9 Oct 1873 and his mother is Anne Kestner
Urban, born 9 Dec 1877. Now this is all the info I have on the Urbans. My
father's side of the family. I'm still trying to find my grandmother, Anne
Kestner Urban. I don't even know who her parents were. My father never
spoke about his family. The only uncle I knew was Fred Urban who lived in
upstate NY. We would visit him every summer. He had a small dairy farm,
about 12 cows. He had a delivery route and sold his milk. He was also a
Justice of the Peace in the town where he lived. When I saw him walking up
the steps to the house, I would say "here comes da judge, here comes da
judge". They that one comedy show with Jimmy Walker, I think. I think he
was the one who coined that phrase.
