Jerry, you can search in the Odessa archives for information. We are
currently gathering our group (we work with the archivist as a group which
makes it easier for her) and you are welcome to join. The archivist will
search for birth/marriage/death info and, if there some other details
(professions, students, etc.) she might be able to find that as well. She
also checks in the 1897 census.

If you want to join, please send a message to this list and Art Blutstein
will add you to the group, send you the form and advise the costs (minimum
is $22.50 if nothing is found after she searches, with the next step up
being $67.50 -- per surname -- but this can vary depending on the commoness
of the surname and if you know given names, or dates, etc. which you do).
