I'm back as the list administrator. Seems like the last list administrator
went MIA....again. So, Rootsweb List Administration has given me the
responsibility of this list....again.

I'd like to get this list's activity to where is was about 2 years ago
(before I did something real stupid) and I'd like to invite the list members
to participate. I did a quick run-through the list setting and made sure
that this list is not set to moderated mode (that just causes delays in
messages getting to other members) but I still need to review some of the
other ones.

I'm not too sure what happened with the rules for this list, but I like to
keep things simple -

1. No flaming, no extensive non-genealogical discussions. MEMBERS - please
don't respond to the "trolls", this just encourages them. Just let me know
about it.
2. No commercial advertising (this will get you on the Reject List almost
instantly). MEMBERS - please don't respond, but if you have to, forward me
the message (if I haven't already seen it and taken care of it) to let me
know.
3. No disruptive posts.
4. I don't have a major heart-burn with Off-Topic posts, let's just keep
them to a minimum. If there is something Off-Topic posted on the list and
you feel passionate about it, please take your discussion off the list. :-)
That would be the courteous thing to do.

Those that have dealt with me before (under the e-mail address of
) know that this list is a great resources for
exchanging information and making new connections.

Other then that, enjoy yourself on this list.
