Hi Patti,
The deaths register for Staines Union has survived for 1890-1954 and is at
the LMA.
Have you obtained the English birth certificates for your Ggrandfather and
his brother? They would give you most information on parents. You could
check the deaths for Frederick, but he may have gone in to the army and so
not be recorded on the census (a lot of soldiers were in South Africa
fighting the Boer War at the time of the 1901 census).
The English birth, marriage and death records are now searchable online at
www.1837online.com There is a fee but it is very reasonable.
