Hi list,
Can anyone tell me under what circumstances a single pregnant woman of
1893 would be able to obtain Bastardy Bonds?
I gather they are monies or the like (perhaps a development of 'in kind' when
sheets and clothing were provided?)....Anyway thats a by the by: information,
general or otherwise gratefully received.
