workhouse site, but don't seem to be able to find what I am actually looking
for. Any suggestions? Seeking info about Eliza Milson(m) who died there
April 19th, 1903. I need to know if there is any thing in her records about
her child, Agnes Milsom, or her sisters/brothers, place and date of birth,
where she is buried etc. I need to confirm her as rthe birth mother of
Agnes Milson, as we are unable to find a birth registration for Agnes, whose
birth is listed as 21 June 1901 in the Barnardos records. If you can help
in any way, or have suggestions where to search from here, I would be most
grateful.

Hi Denise,
The records for Greenwich Union Infirmary are held at the London
Metropolitan Archives.

They do have a death register covering 1903. This will show the name and age
of the deceased, and will sometimes show next of kin, where they lived and
where they were sent for burial.

They also have a births register and the Admission & Discharge registers
covering 1901 and 1903 so if the child was born in the workhouse, the births
register will confirm the name of her mother.

They also have a baptism register, lists of pauper children, adoption
registers all covering the same period. You can onlty consult the records at
the LMA, they are not searchable on the web I'm afraid.

Good luck
