William Carmichael writes in a letter he wrote back to his mother , in England that he and wife ,Ann, are in Georgetown, District of Columbia, USA. The letter is datedJan. 5th, 1830. He is a stonecutter. They came over on ship named Boston. They left from Liverpool. I know he could be my ancestor, but I do not have a clue as to what happened to him. Liverpoole did not have a record of a Boston departing from their port. Any suggestions appreciated. BCParsons USA
