My name is Rose Morrison (nee Baker) from Queensland, Australia and I have subscribe to several other mailing lists but this is the first time I have joined you all.
While able to find others researching branches of my BAKER family line, there has not been anyone actually searching the BAKER/INNIS,INNISS,INNES line.

The BAKER/INNIS family lines which I am researching.

Baptism solemnized in the Chapley of Redcar in the County of York in the year of 1834
June 29th John son of Mark & Mary BAKER, Redcar, Shoemaker.[ Mark Baker & Mary Clark m 1831 in Marske Yks and lived all their lives in Redcar]

The Inniss surname has been listed spelt many ways, INNIS, INNISS, INNES & INNS
Parish of Stockton upon Tees in the County of Durham. Register of Baptisums for the Year 1834 page 251.
Nov 23 Susanna 4th daughter of William & Judah INNIFS, Stockton, Weaver.[William Inniss & Judith Hawthorne m 1818 Silkstone Yks but lived most of their lives in Stockton on Tees Durham]

1851 Marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Hartlepool in the County of Durham

John signed by his mark & Susannah signed her name in the presence of Twizell Johnson ??ifsie Smith
[Now know that Twyzell Johnson was married to Susannah's sister Ann Inniss in 1849 at Stockton Durham ]

3 Emma Baker bap 1857 St Thomas Church Stockton-on-Tees Durham
4 Ellen Baker bap 1858 St Thomas Church Stockton-on-Tees Durham
5 Susannah born abt 1860 Sunderland Durham m 1879 St Thomas Church Stockton Dur to Joseph MILLS
6 John William Innes Baker b 1863 Sunderland Durham m 1890 Qld, Australia to Mary Elizabeth FAGG from Kent England (my great-grandparents. Compiled family tree within Aust.)
There could of been other daughters but John William Innes Baker was the only son.

Do you have a connection or information on this family?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Willing to share my research with other family members.
