Dear Steve

I hope you will not mind me suggesting a possible beneficiary for the
funds raised from your forthcoming History Day.

A charity dear to my heart is the Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust. I
lost my only lovely, very special, talented brother to this genetic
disease a few years ago. Perhaps it might be relevant for those of us
who love our family history to support a fight against a genetic fault -
carried through the generations and passed insidiously from one
generation to the next along-side all those other things that make us
the special people we are today.

Thank you for all you have done - and for all you are working towards.
