Dear Simon and Chris,
Three (virtual) cheers for an effort "Well Done!!" Please pass on to your
fantastic team mine and our heartfelt thanks for all their past and present
efforts to bring the 1861 Sussex project to a successful conclusion. It has
been a joy and a pleasure to work with you both in achieving this wonderful
result over the past few years and I look forward to cheering the completion
of the 1871 project as well.
Congratulations!!!!!!
Warmest regards,

The Sussex team are pleased to announce that the 1861 Census for this county
is COMPLETE! The last piece has just been added to the database to bring
the transcriptions up to date.
The details page on the FreeCEN website shows the total as only 98.6% of the
population, but this is because one complete piece never got as far as the
National Archives for us (or anyone else) to use.
Thanks to all who've helped us with advice and support since we took over
the coordinator's role from John Pope a couple of years ago. This list has
been a real help.
...and now we continue with the 1871!
Best wishes to all,
Simon and Chris
