Hi Frank.
It could be that you are still using the old version of WINCC.
Please contact me direct for the new version.
Cheers
Brenda

Subject: [UK-CENSUS-HELPERS] WINCC - Floppy drive substitute
Hi
My PC does not have a Floppy Drive built-in so I can only substitute an
external floppy drive using a USB connection. This has the
disadvantage of taking up desk space and also seems often to need
unplugging and replugging to access it.
I'd much rather use a USB flash drive but can't find any detail in the
WINCC instructions which would enable me to alter the Drive letter to
that of the Flash drive. I know this can be done in the WINSS
transcription program.
Any thoughts on this? I have Windows XP, but to reallocate drive
letters in DOS I'll have to plough through MS jargon.
Regards.......Frank W uk
