Hi Brenda,
I don't know Hampshire very much at all, its about two hundred miles away
from where I am, but someone on the Hampshire Rootsweb List should be able
to help you, failing that Hampshire Record Office will have a list of Parish
Register burials and Cemetries .
Many Record Offices now have transcribed Monumental Inscriptions, so ask to
see if any have been transcribed, either ask Rootsweb Hants list (Hampshire)
or Hampshire Record Office.
If you type in Portsea in your search engine,there are some register entries
for marriages which may give you an indication which church to look for
burials.
