Thanks, Bob. I think I understand about the shortcuts now. But still no
solution with opening the three small projects that have the missing or bad
project file.

I'm not sure how to copy over the .pro file. I put the floppy in the
computer, but I'm not sure what to do with it! because it obviously doesn't
work the same way as when I backup on my laptop. It won't open on the PC
to ask whether I want to start new project, backup, or whatever. By the
way, the first project that showed the missing file had the number
75490013DBF. I checked under UFT Projects, and it is listed. The asp file
shows 38 KB modified on 6 Apr 2006. The DBF file (which is the one shown
to be missing) shows 8 KB modified on that same date. Does that very small
KB number indicate that something really is missing? Remember it's a very
small file.
