To add to Pierce's message. What mode are you doing your data input. Basic or
Advanced? For a long time I liked to enter the BMDB data in the basic mode, because
the source citation was quicker that way, then switch to advanced for additional data
if needed. I had a problem with not recorded data or lost events. I don't remember
now because I found the problem was switching back and forth between basic and
advanced was doing it. So now I just use advance input. And suffer with all the mouse
clicks to get a citation entered.
