Ron,

I think you can re-use those deleted record numbers. I have done it myself
successfully, I think. No problems so far.
If you know the record number just call the next new individual, go to the
record number and delete that new number and give it the number that was deleted
previously. Proceed to assign this once deleted number with the necessary
particulars and links, then save that record number.

When you next want to add another individual in your project, just remember that
number you last replaced with your old deleted number and use it for the next
individual if it is not assigned any data or events.

Don't know if UFTEngineering or Melissa would object to this process.

Give it a try and see what happens.
