I have a complete collection of the ROOTs products from ROOTS/M forward -
including manuals. It is quite a history - at the same time the features
expanded, the price plummeted. Have to admit though that I didn't climb on
board until ROOTSII. Never got the hang of CP/M and went directly from an
Apple to the PC. One of my fondest memories is meeting Howard Nurse in San
Francisco at an early Computer Faire - in a small booth on the side - and
talking to him about genealogy software. I had been doing it on the Apple
using an ol' primitive dbMaster program and had switched to Wordstar.
Howard's ROOTS program blew me away! Its nice to be involved in the
continuing evolution of that product and part of the "history".
