Thank you for your reply, I appreciate your effort!

I guess some County Clerk's Offices have decided it is too much work/trouble to go to, to scan a copy for just a $1 ... sad because some of us cannot afford the $21 fee for a fancier piece of paper, nor can we drive hundreds of miles to scan it ourselves.

The marriage in question I already know the info from, I recently found it online at the LDS Family Search site, so transcribing it would not be of benefit to me. I was really hoping for that simple copy to just "have as proof".

I am assuming IF I wanted a certified copy, I would have to order it from the State, and not Uvalde Co office??
