The Gregg County Genealogy Society will meet Tuesday, April 1, 2003 in the Moeschle Room at the Longview Public Library. Personal genealogical sharing and visiting among members and guests begins at 6:30 P.M. with the business meeting and program at 7:00 P.M. Visitors are always welcome.

Our program will be "Surnames - Their Origins and Meanings", presented by Scott Fitzgerald of Tyler.

Scott is a CPA and a licensed Real Estate Broker and has been employed by an attorney in Tyler for the last 23 years as the office manager. He is in his third year as President of The East Texas Genealogical Society in Tyler. He is also a member of several other genealogical societies including Rains, Van Zandt, Wood, etc.
