Hugh Brown's daughter, Orpha Josephine, along with some of her sisters and brothers lived in Nix, Lampasas County in the 1887-1893 era. I have letters that Josephine and her future husband wrote to each other during this time frame.
Horace, I am interested in that letter apparently by T.C. Brown. Hugh is my great great great great grandfather. They did live here where I do in North Alabama before leaving for Texas.
