Checked the newspaper office today. The paper is not available for any of
the time frame for either 1931 or 1932. Therefore no story nor obit is
available. Sorry, that would have been very helpful.

Hi,
I just wanted to thank everyone so much for their contributions to the John
Foss information. It was more valuable than you realize. I've forwarded it
to his grand-daughter and she was thrilled to receive it. It has
accomplished exactly what I had hoped, a way to momentarily redirect her
thoughts and provide a way to relieve some of the stress of her husband's
terminal illness. I do believe that later, when time permits, she is going
to want to dig deeper into the history of her grandfather to preserve the
information for future generations. Meanwhile, I'm compiling all I've found
into my database so no details are lost.
