The community was established by John B. Kristenstad about 1915 as a
Norwegian settlement in the De Cordova Bend of the Brazos River.A post
office operated there from 1928 until sometime after 1930. It was supposed
to be kind of a Utopian community.

Christensen who made frequent business trips.36 Mrs. James F. Carey assumed

One more thought! Could this be the local pauper cemetery? Total lack of
stones suggests this, unless flooding washed away the stones years ago. Judy
