I have searched for a map but cannot find one on line that is ledgible. In Calhoun County there is a place called Schicke Point.
It is located at the mouth of Carancahua Bay where the bay feeds into Matagorda Bay. It is located north east of Port Lavaca across the bay.
You might try a google search for Schicke Point Map or Calhoun County, Texas Map
