Surname: Brown, Dulaney
-------------------------

I am seeking information on a Sam Brown, W.A. Brown, and Earl Dulaney.
According to information, Sam and Earl were in a train robbery in Brown
Co. I have a letter dated May 29, 1890 from Sam Brown to his brother, W.
A. Brown and sister-in-law, Mattie C. Brown wanting them to get him out
of the Waco Jail. The letter was from Waco, Texas. Another letter to Sam
Brown from R.S. McMahon, jailer at the Waco Jail, dated 12-19, 1890 concerning
a blank appearance bond from Your Sheriff, which was sent to Sam Brown,
Brownwood, Texas, Care of Jailer on 12-19-180 from the Waco Jail, Dan Ford,
County Sheriff. Also have a receipt from R. Plummer for Judge Brown where
he received $15.00 from W.A. Brown for Earl Dulaney for unlawfully carrying
a pistol. Would anyone know if the Brownwood Jail would have information
this far back or if the Brownwood Paper keep records this far back that
can be research. If you know, please contact me, this would make a good
story, if I could find further information.
