I came through the storm fine with about 6 different waives of rain and
nickel size hail every 30 minutes. Three (3) blocks north of me, our
housing addition lost fences, trees, and a large power pole. A mile away, a
shopping area was hit, with Target losing part of the roof, a couple of
smaller business totally destroyed, and a restaurant lost an entire wall.
Many large signs and trees were down, and a few houses and an apartment
complex were also damaged in that area. On the north side of town,
multi-million dollar homes were destroyed at Oak Tree Country Club. Two
hours south of Oklahoma City in a small town of about 4500, 8 have been
confirmed dead, 2 are missing, and 14 critically injured. It was the
hardest hit area. The news said over the past 30 years, Oklahoma normally
has .5 tornadoes during February. Last night we had 5 total. Hope all
other family members made it through the storms as well.

This is a note going out to all the cousins over the states of Oklahoma,
Texas and Kansas. I hope all of you survived the terrible tornados and other
weather that has passed through the last couple of days. Here in my part of
Missouri, we had some really heavy winds and lots of rain but otherwise are
fine. If you get a minute, drop a note to the list and let us all know you
are okay. Thanks Linda
