To All:

I'm seeking descendants of Henry Turney and Martha Lancaster.

Henry Turney was born abt. 1753 in Charles Co., MD and died 1838 in Smith
Co., TN. I believe him to be the son of John Turney.

Martha Lancaster was born about 1765 in Henrico Co., Va and died 1825-1827
in Smith Co., TN. She was the daughter of John Lancaster and Ann Cottrell.

After Martha died Henry Married a Nancy Jones.

Henry and Martha had one son or at least I believe him to be a son named
Matthew Turney.

There were some Turney families in Van Buren Co., AR from about 1840 to 1870
(or even later) but I don't know if they are connected to Henry Turney that
married Martha Lancaster.

I know that Gilbert Cottrell from Smith Co., TN was in the same area with
the Turney family around Van Buren Co., AR but not for sure if he was
relation or just a friend of the families.
