My Turners were in Mecklenburg Co VA in early 1800's then migrated thru NC to
Upson Co GA:

John Turner m. ?
1. Matthew Turner
2. Mildred "Millie" m 1st John Holmes 2nd Nathaniel Jackson
3. Nancy ?
4 And more unknowns

Millie m Nathaniel Jackson
1. John Andrew
2. William Rufus
3. Burrell
4 Beckley
5 And more

John Andrew m Elizabeth Gammill in Harris Co GA, then
migrated to Upson Co, then on to Columbia Co AR where both are buried in
Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in the Lamartine are just north of Waldo.

Also, Matthew Turner followed this migration pattern to some extent. We know
he owned property in several places, i.e. Macon Co AL, and there are records
indicating he owed property in Columbia Co AR.

Anyone doing research on this John Turner line?
