All I have in my records is that she married someone by the last name of
Young- I didn't have a first name for him. I only have a marriage date
of 1847 in Tippah County, Mississippi.

>Does anyone have the marriage records of Elizabeth Jane Treece marrying a John? Young in Tippah Co., MS or Hardeman Co. TN in 1847? Elizabeth was the daughter of Valentine Monfret Treece and Letha Shelly.
>In the 1850 census she is shown as a widow with a son b. 1848, James Valentine Young- then she moved to Hardeman County and is shown in the census there for 1850 as Treece, and single. Her son is shown as a grandson to the Treeces. The LDS site shows Hardeman Co., TN but there is no record. James Valentine was born in MS, so the Tippah Co. marriage is more likely.
