Hello Treeces. I am new to this site and saw that a few people were talking about Treece, KS. It is my understanding that my family also lived there when the town was first settled, but I know nothing more than that. My grandfather's name was Thomas Justin Treece, and he was the son of Rolla Clay Treece and Grace Treece. All I know of the town is from an old faded photograph of the main street area that my grandfather kept framed on his wall. After both of his parents died, Thomas Justin Treece left Kansas and eventually settled in Odessa, Texas, where he married Catherine Walters and had two children, Sharon Lee Treece and Thomas Gerald Treece, my father. I would be very interested in knowing more about Treece, KS and anything about this side of my family, which is kind of a mystery.
