Dear Beckie,

Thanks for posting your pedigree and your family names. I have searched the
names and tried to find matches with my family files. I cannot find any
matches at this time. Although our family spells our name with the two
"L's", it doesn't mean that our families couldn't have been connected
sometime in the past.

I have ordered the "Tolles In America" book and will recheck for
possibilities when it arrives.

For the sake of all those other researchers of the Tolles Surname, please
continue to post any finds or information which may be helpful for others.

Where do the majority of your Toles family have their root? (Which state?)

Greetings Tolles Researchers;

Things have been so slow -- I think it is time for a Roll Call. For

who are not familiar with it, a roll call is where members post their

The Tolles family lived in several Eastern Colonial States for many
decades
before any of them began to emigrate west. Henry Tolles was one of the
pioneers of New Haven Conneticut.

There is much documentation about this family including a book written a
few
years ago called the "Tolles In America" written by William Tolles and
Alyce
Tolles Morow. If anyone wants more information about this book please
write
to me personally and I will give you more information about it. (I am
merely
passing on the information and have no financial interest involved in
any
