No, Barbra, I'm not the OFFICIAL Lauderdale County genealogist, just a
"shade-tree" practitioner.

I was, however, appointed to be Lauderdale County Historian when Terry
Ford relinquished the job because of ill health, but I try to help
anybody I can with their family tree if I have any info on them or can
get it in a 20-minute visit to the Court House or the newspaper office
that fits my schedule.
