Does anyone have any information on the Polly Griffin that is listed on the 1820 Hickman Co. census? I think she may be my 3rd great grandmother. I have been looking for the parents of my 2nd great grandfather, David Griffin. In his CW Pension file he stated that he was born in 1808 near Charleston, SC and in about 1812 his family moved to Centerville, Hickman Co., TN where they lived until about 1825. I only find three Griffins in the county at that time, Samuel, Seth and Polly. Polly seems to be the only one with a boy of about 12 years of age. Any information would be greatly appreciated and I would be glad to share any Griffin info that I might have.
