Karel,
I am posting your message to the Hardin Co. List. Perhaps someone with a family gedcom will post some information. If not, I have a list of the Gibson Hardin family---his wife and 9 children and what looks like most of his grandchildren. This information was put together by Tommie Cochran Patterson in 1931. You may have this already?

David

David, I am writing you from TEXAS and I belong to the Austin Genealogical Society and serve on the board.

I am researching the Hardins and my wife is a desendent of Col Joseph Hardin (buried in Knox County, TN) and I know that the Hardin settled in Hardin County in the early 1800's. Col. Joseph Hardin had a Son, Gibson. (died 24 July 1826) Looking for his grave.

I found Gibson's Son, Benjamine Hardin in the Bethlehem II Cemetery and they are other Gibson Hardin in that cemetery, but not with this date. Gibson is used a lot because Col Hardin wife was Jane Gibson.

Question: Is their someone in your club that is a decendent of the Hardins and I would like to share information with them.

Thanks,

Karel Danford

PS. I ordered some of your CD's tonight to help with my search.
