My families lived near Clinton in Hardin County. They were James A. and
Henry H.Burris and Margaret Gower and children and possibly others in the
family. I have looked at maiden names connected to these lines, but I am
still stumped. I feel that it had something to do with they male members of
the family fighting Union, but I have no proof.
