The information I gave came from the widows pension file 918862 of Sarah E.
(Wilkerson) widow of Jesse Rose. Sarah states she is the widow of Jesse
Rose, her father Daniel Wilkerson, her mother Zida Wilkerson, brothers
William, Joe H., James H., Richard, and Boss. Her sisters Burnett married
Anderson Alexander, and Martha C. married William Franks. Sarah also states
that in 1860 she lived 4 miles NE of Lowerville, Hardin Co.

In another affidavit Sarah states that she lived with her father Daniel
Wilkerson on Turkey Creek, in Hardin Co., from 1846 to about 1866 when she
married and that her sister Martha Wilkerson married Bill Franks and is two
years older then Sarah.

On Oct. 19, 1916 Sarah claims she is 70 years old and was born in
Tuscaloosa, Al in 1846 and that she currently lives in Gillis Mills, TN.

Hi,
I have in my notes a Daniel Wilkerson who was married to Disa C. "Dicey"
Bratton (b. 1840). She was the daughter of Paul Bratton (1782-1858) and his
2nd wife, Mary/Martha "Patsy"______ (b. 1797). Both Daniel and Disa were
deceased before 11 April 1894 when the estate settlement of Paul Bratton was
filed in Hardin County. The children of Daniel and Disa listed in the case
were:John, Thomas, Rily and Daniel.
I also have in my notes a Andrew G. "Boss" Wilkerson who married Mary
Jane Tilley (b. 1856), daughter of Richard Tilley and Fannie Bratton
(daughter of Paul Bratton and his 1st wife). Another daughter of Richard and
Fannie was Sarah C. Tilley (b. 1852) who married Joseph Wilkerson. Is this
the Boss and Joe Wilkerson you mention as the sons of Daniel and Zida?
