I just found the book(at the local thrift store),
"Carroll Country Arkansas 1830-1983, An Outlander's
History" by Jim Lair. It is a detailed history of the
county. It mentions that many of the settlers of
Carroll Co. were from Tennessee and Kentucky. It has
an index of the 1830 and 1840 census of the county and
many of the other professionals and officials. If your
ancestors settled in the Eureka Springs or Berryville
areas of Arkansas, I would be willing to see IF they
are listed in the book.
