Ira -
I don't have the specific information you are looking for, but have
several of the same surnames.
I have an Elizabeth Denton that married Joseph Tipton in Washington,
Tennessee before 1757.
Is your Effa Thomas any relation to Isaac Thomas the Indian Scout who
died in Sevier Co., Tennessee 10/30/1818?
I have several Adams lines, one of which has been resident in Chicago
for a couple of generations.
Not sure there are any links, but would be interested in discussing
further.

Ron, I don't have the information you are looking for, but I just wanted
to
check with you on the Adams family since your name is Adams. My
gggrandfather was William Henry Adams and my gggrandmother Martha
Denton,
and I was just wondering if you might have any information about them.
They
were both from Coffee County, Tennessee. They had several children, and
one
of them was named Rhoda Adams that later migrated to Illinois and
married my
ggrandfather Effa Thomas.
