Sherry,
I currently have 1762 listings for Maplewood Cemetery, in Tullahoma. An old
cemetery book, written in 1968 (or so), had many of these, but was sadly
lacking many. I understand that some of the sheets were misplaced, just
before going to the printer. We have added to this, over the years, from
OBITS, and other sources. We plan to re-survey, maybe this Winter, or in
the Spring. Could we work together on this ? Maybe something like "I'll show
you mine if you'll show me yours" or something like that ? :^)
We also have a listing of the burials in the Confederate section.
BTW, the cemetery was originally called the "Confederate Cemetery". It was
started during the Civil War, because the other Tullahoma Cemetery (Oakwood)
was rapidly being filled up with the war deaths, mostly from the Confederate
Hospital in Tullahoma.
My Ph # is 728-9890 (Jess & Joanna Lewis)
