Mildred 'Ruth' Brooks, age 82, of Harrogate, passed away November 9, 2005 at
her daughter's home in Cleveland.

She was the oldest member of Tiprell Community Full Gospel Church. She was
preceded in death by her, parents: Dan and Lou Stella Fultz Ellison; husband:
Joe G. Brooks; brothers: Roger Ellison and Arville Ellison; sisters: Pearl Baker
and Ethel Baker; son: Robert Danny Brooks; son-in-law: James Bradford Vannoy.

Survivors include daughters: Mary Ruth Brooks (Dr. Pat) Younger, Bobbie
Brooks all of Cleveland, Glenia Sue Brooks Vannoy of Lake City, Dr. Sandra Brooks
(Bill) Arnett of Johnson City; son: David Lynn (Loma) Brooks of Harrogate;
sister: lnez Lane of New Tazewell; brother: Jerry U. Ellison of Middlesboro, Ky;
special granddaughter: Hannah Grace Brooks; grandchildren: Timothy Brooks,
Russell Brooks, Amanda Clair Evans, Brian Kelly Vannoy, Joseph Younger, Heather
Brooks; great granddaughter: Audrey Grace Evans.

Funeral services were Friday, November 11 at 1 p.m. at Reece Valley Chapel
with Rev. Randy Duncan officiating. Music by Dora Duncan and Marcella Williams.
Burial in the Brooks Family Cemetery.

Frank B. Cinnamon, age 60, of New Tazewell was born January 8, 1945 and
passed away November 6, 2005 at the Claiborne County Hospital.

He professed faith at an early age and was a member of Liberty Baptist
Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Ben and Edna Cinnamon;
grandchild: Erin Cinnamon.

He is survived by his wife: Jane Cinnamon; son and daughter-in-law: Chris and
Darlene Cinnamon; daughter: Lisa Cinnamon; grandchildren: Sarah and Joshua
Cinnamon; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ken and Nellie Cinniamon, Eddie and Cathy
Cinniamon; sister: Imogene Tighe; sisters and brothers-in-law: Audrey and
Parlon Widner, Bennie and Ray Carter, Helen and Dan Phillips, Mildred and Wayland
Ramsey, Debbie and Glenn Cosby; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Jean and
Forrest Baker; and a host of friends and family.

NELL HARRELL CRAWFORD







Nell Harrell Crawford, age 48, of Tazewell, was born August 9, 1957 and
passed away November 9, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital.

She was a beloved teacher at Soldiers Memorial Middle School for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Margaret "P-Nut" Harrell;
father-in-law: Floyd Crawford.

She is survived by her husband: Eddie Crawford; daughter: Kerri Margaret
Crawford; parents: Bill and Sterlynn Harrell all of Tazewell; sister: Mary Harrell
Agee; brother: Schultz Harrell; sister and husband: Nancy and Mike Hansard;
mother-in-law: Blanche Crawford; nephews: Ben Pressnell, Jacob Agee, William

AUDRA LILLIAN LAMBERT DAVIS







Audra Lillian Lambert Davis, age 90, of Speedwell, was born August 23, 1915
in Claiborne County and passed away November 9, 2005 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Cronelius and Matilda Ausmus Lambert.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church since 1932. She
was preceded in death by two sons; one great granddaughter; four sisters; three
brothers.

Survivors include husband of 73 years: Elder Albert Davis; daughter: Faye
(Bob) Hensley; sons: Paul (Jean) Davis all of Speedwell, Glen (Barbara) Davis of
LaFollette, Wayne Davis of Tazewell; six grandchildren: Mike Hensley of
Speedwell, Jerry Hensley of North Hampton, Oh, Glen Allen Davis of Germany, Scott
Davis, Robby Davis both of LaFollette, Paula Mabelitini of Speedwell; 12 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 12 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill
Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Larry Anderson and Elder Bill Rhymer
officiating. Music by Pleasant Hill Singers. Burial in the Ausmus Cemetery.

Leoma Farmer, age 58, of New Tazewell was born on February 4, 1947 and passed
away on November 8, 2005.

She was a member of a Swan Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded
in death by husband: James Farmer; parents: Robert Lee and Mossie (Raby) Harvey.

She is survived by son: Robert Farmer; daughters: Kristy Farmer and boyfriend
Patrick Armstrong, Teresa Farmer and boyfriend Ed Brooks all of New Tazewell;
brothers: Junior and wife Betty Harvey of Sharps Chapel, Charlie Harvey of
New Tazewell; sisters: Mary and husband George Sharp of Sharps Chapel, Joyce and
husband Wayne Sinard of Morristown; grandchildren: Tony Brown Jr., Justin
Farmer, and Aaron Coffey; special friends: Diana Ford and Stella Bunch.

Esther Mullins Hatfield, age 74, of Tazewell, was born July 22, 1931 in
Hancock County, and departed this life Friday, November 11, 2005 at the University
of Tennessee Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husband: Roy
Hatfield; daughter: Priscilla Ann Cupp; parents: Isaac and Cosby (Gibson) Mullins;
sisters: Marjorie and Mary; brothers: Henry Stewart and Edward Mullins

Survivors include son: Arnold Dean Hatfield; granddaughters: Beth and husband
Johnny Johnson, Shandi and Katie Hatfield; grandsons: Reggie and Eric
Hatfield; great granddaughter: Emily Johnson; special niece: Glessie Cummins; special
sister-in-law: Tootsie Hatfield Bell; special friend: Bill Johnson; several
other nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were Sunday, November 13 at 8 p.m. in the Claiborne Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Kester Bunch officiating. Graveside services were
Monday, November 14 at 11 a.m. in the Vardy Community Cemetery in Sneedville.

BERTHA MARIE BRADFORD HOUNSHEL







Bertha Marie Bradford Hounshel, age 85, of Ewing, Va, was born April 29, 1920
in Claiborne County and went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 7, 2005 at
the home of her daughter Janice and Steve Warf.

She was a daughter of the late Josephus and Minnie Lee Dixon Bradford. In
addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Hounshel;
four sisters: Hazel Moyers, Elsie Conway, Allie Alderdice and Ethel Cosby;
three brothers: Tom, Mose, and Pat Bradford; great grandson: Ryan Hounshel.

Survivors include four daughters: Janice (Steve) Warf, Lana Beatty all of
Ewing, Va, Wilma (Jimmy) Mills of Harrogate, Anita (Bill) Hall of Barbourville,
Ky; two sons: Willis (Janice) Hounshel of Ewing, Va, Carson (Bonnie) Hounshel
of Rose Hill, Va; one sister: Opal Justice of Tazewell; seven grandchildren;
six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; very special f
riend: Mattie Raines of Ewing, Va; a great doctor: Cristian Speil.

Funeral services were Wednesday, November 9 at 2 p.m. at Reece Valley Chapel
with Rev. Martin Gibbons and Rev. Claiborne Gibbons officiating. Music by Ben
and Lavada Davis. Burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Ben Mabe, age 52, of Tazewell, was born November 26, 1952 and passed away
November 8, 2005 at his home.

He was saved at Highland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his
father: Tom Mabe; grandparents: Kyle and Jane Seals Mabe, Enox and Lizzie Eldridge
Jordan.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Rodney Loop of
Lone Mountain; step grandchild: Bryan Matthew Loop; mother: Mrs. Jimmie Mabe of
Tazewell; brothers: Kes Mabe, Chris Mabe both of Tazewell; niece: Casey Mabe
of Ellizabethton; nephew: John Mabe of Crane, Mo; and a host of other relatives
and friends.

Funeral services were Thursday, November 10 at 1 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Willard Wilder and Rev. Curt Reed. Songs by The Fred Reed

Charles J. Parrott, age 96, of Harrogate was born November 16, 1908 and
passed away November 12, 2005 at Tri-State Manor.

He was a member of the Arthur United Methodist Church. He was a member and
helped build the Harrogate Senior Citizen's building. He was preceded in death
by his parents: Arch and Fannie Parrott; wife: Willie Speaks Parrott; infant
son: Charles Parrott Jr.

Survivors include nephew: James Pursiful and wife Susie of Middlesboro, Ky;
and other nieces and nephews; special friends: Gary and Frances Burchett of
Harrogate.

Graveside services were Wednesday, November 16 at 11 am. at Green Hills
Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Alexander officiating. Poem by Gary Burchett.

Christopher Dean Redmond, age 19, of Tazewell, was born January 25, 1986 and
passed away November 5, 2005.

He was a 2004 graduate of Claiborne High School. He was a member of
Springdale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jay and Evelyn
Redmond; great grandparents: Leonard and Hazel Pearson, Roy and Roxie Meyers.

He is survived by his mother: Lisa Dale Pearson of Tazewell; father: Jimmy
Redmond and wife Lisa of New Tazewell; half brother: Jonathan Redmond; half
sister: Savannah Redmond; grandmother: Mrs. Georgia Pearson; grandfather: Mr.
Warren Dale Pearson both of Tazewell; uncles: Warren Dale Pearson II and wife
Janet of Luttrell and daughter Savannah, J.P. and David Redmond; aunts: Pauline

James Timothy "Tim" Smith, age 74, of Tazewell, was born June 15, 1931 and
passed away on November 11, 2005 at his home.

He was a member of Chittum Chapel Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army
for 22 1/2 years and retired as Sgt. Major. He was preceded in death by his
parents: Rev. Hence and Dovie Smith; brother: Dester Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Mildred Jean Smith; daughter and
son-in-law: Denise and Jerrell Cox; sons and daughters-in-law: James P. and Pamela
Smith, Michael and Tammy Smith; grandchildren: Shane Cox, Quinton Smith,
Colby Smith, Lauryn Smith, Lana Smith, and Charity Smith; great granddaughters:
Kaylee and Kinley Cox all of Tazewell and New Tazewell; sisters: Versie Bowman

Betty Marie Wilmoth, age 70, of Tazewell, formerly of Kingston Nova Scotia,
Canada was born October 17, 1935 and passed away November 10, 2005.

She was a member of the Clinch Valley American Christian Church. She was the
founder of the UAW Tri-State Retirees Club. She was preceded in death by her
parents: Kingsley and Marjorie Bruce; brother: Chum Bruce.

She is survived by her husband: Stanley Wilmoth; sons and wives: Bruce and
Kathy Wilmoth of Roanoke, Va, Shawn and Priscilla Wilmoth of Jefferson City;
grandchildren: Matthew Wilmoth, Charity Wilmoth, Phillip Wilmoth, Brad Rakes,
Andrew Wilmoth, Brandon Wilmoth, Luke Wilmoth; great grandchild: Faith MacKenzie;
