Hello,
I am Michael Tiner. I am the one who first posted looking for
information on Edmund and Lucinda Tiner of McDonald County Missouri. I posted this in
1999 or 2000. We have not been able to trace beyond them for some reason or
another. My goal was to find out what native country the Tiner's originally
migrated from. I know there are Tiner's in England and Ireland. Would participating
in this DNA project answer that question for me? I am aware that the Tyner's
and Tiner's were of the same ancestry and the spelling changed for some at some
point along the way. If anyone can help me achieve my goal of tracing our
Tiner's back to the native country of origin, I would be most grateful.
