G'day fellow Tomo's and decendents thereof. I recommend each of us join the Clan Thompson Site and participate in the Thompson DNA project. I have been looking at the names History in Ireland and it would appear our Family Name has association with Scottish Refugees following the series of Military conflicts with the English in the 16'/1700's period and the genocide that followed. A number then fought with the Irish and French against the English arround 1800. The English won this encounter as well and caused further movement.
