A U.S. Navy, World War II veteran, he was born August 27, 1921 in Iowa; died Thursday, June 1, 2006, Fairfield Bay, Van Buren County, AR.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; children, Sandra & Dr. Bill Robson, Norma Thompson-Pomerleau, Richard & Mii Thompson; brother, Carl, and sister, Helen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Lily Thompson of Garden Grove, IA; siblings, Victor, Archie, Carrie, Winnie, Lura, Tom, Wayne, Billie, & Harriet.
