Marriage License and Marriage Bond for marriage of James H. Robinson to Jane J. Thompson, daughter of Snowden THOMPSON and his wife, Olley S. MITCHELL THOMPSON, of Tallapoosa County, Alabama, USA, on March 28, 1880:

Tallapoosa County
To any Licensed or Ordained Minister of the Gospel, Judge of the Supreme, Circuit, or Probate Courts, Chancellor,or Justice of the Peace for said Coounty--Greeting:
You are Hereby authorized to Celebrate the Rites of Matrimony between James H. ROBINSON and Jane J. THOMPSON and this shall be your sufficient authority for so doing.
Given under my hand and seal this 24 day of Mch A.D. 1880.

The above named parties were married by me on the 28 day of Mch A.D. 1880.

Know all Men by these presents, That we, Jas. H. Robinson, and SNOWDEN THOMPSON are held and firmly bound unto the State of Alabama in the sum of Two Hundred ($200) Dollars, for which payment, well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our and each of our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 24 day of Mch A.D. 1880.
The condition of the above obligation is such, That if there be no lawful cause why Jas. H. ROBINSON and Jane J. THOMPSON should not be joined together in the HOLY UNION OF MATRIMONY, then this obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
