Hi Jeannie, you need to find a large database of samples. You should join the Ulster Heritage DNA project:
http://ulsterheritagedna.ulsterheritage.com/

It'll automatically 'sort' you next to matches. You can also check at familytreedna to see if there is a McGregor project you can join. And upload results to Ysearch (from familytreedna it's easy). There is also a DNA Newbie list at rootsweb which is a great help.

So... what kinda DNA did your cousin turn out to have? That also matters. The type of DNA suggests various other groups.
