You may already know this, but I have found lots of clues on the WV State
Archives website. Birth, death and marriages are searchable for the entire
state. The exact dates of available records for each county are listed on
the site. Be sure to use the 'similar' spelling option if you do not find
what you want under 'exact.' The address is
http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_select.aspx . People from Ohio and
southwest Pennsylvania often are found in the Ohio County WV records.
