We can compare notes. I have a lot of info and I do know some of them went
wandering off somewhere...I finally found my GG grandfather William Steele
(became an Episcopal priest) in TN and then TX..and have his records from
there. I really thought he was a Presbyterian minister; see what those
Scotch-Irish can do to your thought processes! His father was Capt. John
Steele, who fought with the VA regiments in the Revolutionary War.
There was another Steele family in Carlisle also, and I have some of the
info on them, too.
