A chairde / Friends,

As you've noted, DNA research can't be properly understood in a vacuum.
Context is needed. In the Gaelic world, that context is Seanchas. Until
the 17th-18th Century, Seanchas was the indivisible combination of the law,
history, and genealogy of Ireland, Scotland, and Man, including both Gaeil
and Gall.

Below you'll find some of the primary sources of the 7th through 17th
Centuries, plus some of the best modern analyses of the Seanchas tradition.

Unfortunately, I have to spend all my free time on taxes for the next couple
of weeks or so. If anyone would like to contact me in the meantime, please
don't hesitate. You can reach me by sending directly to me at
.

Le gach dea-ghuí / Best,
Jerry
